1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Marine Game Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 13563349, with its registered office at Unit 3 Ricardo Way, Ampress Park, Lymington, England, SO41 8JU ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the Workshop Pro application (the "Service").

2. Data we collect

Account data: your name, email address and role, provided when your login is created.

Business data you enter: jobs, customers, vessels, time records, comments and uploaded files.

Usage data: basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

3. How we use data

We use your data to provide the Service, authenticate users, send job-related and account notifications, and keep the Service secure.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service (for example authentication and email delivery), and where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. An admin can request deletion of their organisation's account and data at any time.

In either iPhone app, open Your Profile, then Privacy & account, to read this policy or request deletion of your own account. Requests disable account access immediately and schedule permanent erasure after 14 days. Processing normally completes within 24 hours of the scheduled date; temporary identity-provider failures are retried automatically rather than marking an incomplete erasure as finished.

Account deletion removes the login and unshared personal profile. Staff deletion also removes private assistant conversations and notifications and anonymises the engineer directory record. Workshop job notes, photos, forms, time, payroll, financial and safety evidence are retained where required for the workshop's legal obligations, with account attribution removed. A contact record still used by another account is retained for that account. Deleting a staff login does not delete the workshop or cancel its subscription.

Existing backup copies are not immediately rewritten. They remain subject to the workshop's applicable legal retention policy and must not be restored to active use without reapplying completed deletion requests. Contact your workshop about its specific statutory retention periods.

We send a completion confirmation to your sign-in email. Only the delivery address and request reference are temporarily kept for this purpose, with automatic retries for up to 30 days; the address is then removed whether or not delivery succeeds.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.
